This is where the rubber meets the road.
In Profit Hiker we talk about sticking to a trail map, but that’s not a “Plan”. A Plan involves more detail than just the map.
If you have been on a hike, you know that a hiking plan involves:
what you’re wearing
what the weather is expected to be
what time you depart
how much food to bring
how long should the breaks be
how long should this hike take from start to finish
(A Plan should also account for unforeseen adversity.)
Once you pick a trail, Plan out how you are going to go about that journey – and be realistic. You still have a business to run, not to mention all of your other responsibilities in life.
Make a plan before you hit the trail!
